"Who asked you anyway?"

Wise words from Outlaw.

This weblog was created for interaction. I have a lot more to say than what is worth saying in most situations, so this is a place where I can lay it all out and give someone the time to respond if they choose to. To me, it's a forfeit act to publish something in the public realm without intending to get a response from the public. Everyone has their reasons for doing things like this (and honestly, to take it seriously is kind of silly) but personally, I get off on interaction. Otherwise, this is as entertaining as talking on the phone with no one else on the line.

I am slightly ruffled that I was actually given advice on how I should present things here. But alas, Outlaw said it best.

Who asked you anyway?

Hey dan, I read your whatnot just about everyday. leafing through a persons take on somthing, views, or thoughts is somewhat entertaining to me. Thats why I have my own online jotpad type thing. Hopefully my rambles are a fraction as entertaining as yours are to me.
Rock on my good friend!

I was going to write a comment, but my boss busted in, and I had to get back to work, and by the time I returned to this, I forgot what I was going to write.

Oh well, here's my comment anyway.

"But seriously, get over that and write something." --Dan Greuter, 2003AD

I was going to make this a post on my blog, but I didn't think it worth it. Anyways...don't go whining about people not commenting, then flame someone for expressing their (not close to offensive) opinion.

But here, this is for you:

"Wow Dan! Great blog! You write such interesting things. I rise every morning and fire up my browser just to see your weblog as my homepage. Keep up the great work!!!!"

Perhaps from now on you should give us a list of allowable topics for discussion and the corresponding views each of us should take? I hate to rain on an otherwise cheery weblog like this, but wtf man.

ah, it's been so long since the self-righteous Dan has revealed himself; i see things really haven't changed much.

er, anyways, i'm done commenting here I guess. not out to make the place a battleground.

never!

In relation to that...I think the downside to MT could be the ability for a ROGUE poster to completely destroy the interaction part of this through flooding the comments with crap like "OMG WTF LOL." As I'm not sure MT provides an "accounts" way of posting.

Let's hope such a rogue does not appear or it will be the end of us all.

Posted by: fugimax at August 2, 2003 05:22 PM

Indeed. this could be the end of us all...

Or just you...bwahaha. O_o
