So that you don't hate me

First, I want to apologize to everybody who has tried to keep in touch by email. There is no way around it, I have been terrible in getting back to you. What I just want you to understand is that it is really hard for me to sit down and write a proper response. Only since today have I had a reliable connection, and by that I just mean there is a computer down stairs that I can use when nobody else is. Otherwise, it was 1EURO pro hour to sit in a filthy internet cafe with terrible Turkish pop playing through multiple cellphones.

The longer I wait the more there is to catch up on, but now that my situation is a little more stable, I will spend all the time I need to get back to you fellas and gals.

Ugh. I feel completely drained. Munich is overwhelming so far. That's all I can say. The stress in my life is matriculating with a school that I am not 100% enthused about (I am used to the academic world of university, not a trade school). I am stressed because I want to keep in touch with everybody that I care about. I'm stressed because the tightest group of friends in Cologne was just pulled apart and it reminds me of the old adage about fingernails being clipped to close. Only in this case they're bleeding.

But it'll settle with time I guess. I am planning something that I am really excited about. I spoke with some of you a long long time ago, long before I left for orientation in DC, that I wanted to do something romantic on this trip, in the sense of something completely unimaginable. I know what it is now, and I've begun planning. Expect good pictures is all I have to say.
